1950s Girl

The outfit was on the 1950’s girl was not a costume.  It was a snapshot of optimism and innocence following WWII.

The poodle skirt was the era’s iconic garment.  Saddle shoes and bobby sox were part of the fashion.

The hula hoop craze became a symbol of carefree childhood energy and wholesome fun!
