Designed to glitter so as not to be forgotten, this 5″ diameter coaster might have been used in Franklin’s print shop to keep ye old mug of coffee from staining the counter tops. In the evening it could have glittered in the colonial light reminding Franklin to clean up the shop. In the morning it could have reminded Franklin to throw something at the ‘red coats’. And, this would have been the perfect object! Measuring a full 5” in diameter and made out of some kind of brass-look metal, this object could have flown out of Franklin’s hand like a frisbee and knocked Mr. Red Coat squarely in the noggin.
